KHT5500 Hydraulic Power Tong

The KHT (KT) hydraulic power tongs are open-type power tongs applicable for making up and breaking out oil casing pipes during oil field workover operations.They feature high operating efficiency, significantly reducethelabor intensity of workers, improve the quality of pipe string thread connections, and reduce pipe string accidents caused by improper workover operations.
The front two-jaw-plates of the master tong are in the swing structure and the back jaw plate is the roller-climbing structure. The assembly and disassembly is very convenient. The optimum tangent-diameter ratio design ensures reliable clamping and easy slope retreating.The back tong is the three-jaw-plate structure pushed by hydraulic cylinder. The structure is simple and the clamping is reliable.
Four-gear rotation is adopted for large speed regulation range. And the rated torque is large.
It features a brake caliper system.The braking torque is large.The operation is simple.And it is convenient for repair and replacement.
With the open large gear suporting structure, hardness and rigidity of open large gear is enhanced considerably:
The shellis made of stel plate with high hardness.The overall hardness isgood. Various jaw plates are made with fine casting and forging process. It has beautiful apearance and high hardness.
Hydraulic torque indicator is provided. And installation interface of turning torque instrument is provided for computerized management.
The KHT5500 hydraulic power tong is an open type power tong suitable for unloading 23/8 "-31/2" drill rods, 31/2 "-41/2" oil pipes, and 41/2 "-51/2" casing in oilfield well repair operations. Both the main and back tongs use a three jaw plate clamping mechanism to ensure minimal damage to the pipe string. Its high operating efficiency greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and can improve the quality of pipe string thread connections, reducing pipe string accidents caused by improper well repair operations.
